How I Learned to Love My Big Breasts

Cordelia M. Salt Lake City, Utah

Growing up as a larger woman, I suffered from back problems caused by my breasts. I thought the only solution was surgery, so I considered getting a breast reduction. But then I discovered other ways to manage my back pain while still loving my body—and it all started with an online bra store.

Finding Supportive Bras
Finding bras that fit me was always a challenge, especially since most stores don’t carry sizes above 36D. That’s why discovering an online bra store changed my life. Not only did they carry bras that fit me perfectly, but their selection of styles was much larger than what you find in stores. Plus, the customer service representatives were so helpful and understanding that it made me feel really supported and validated in my decision not to get a reduction surgery.

Exercises for Back Pain Relief
I also found out about some exercises specifically designed for relieving back pain caused by large breasts. Through trial and error, I figured out which ones worked best for me and now use them regularly to keep myself comfortable throughout the day. These exercises are easy enough to do at home or even in the office if needed—no special equipment is required!

Surprising Encouragement from Men
When I first decided not to get a breast reduction, I was worried about what people would think of me—especially men. To my surprise, though, many of the men around me (both friends and strangers) expressed admiration for my body in its natural state. It turns out there are plenty of guys who appreciate curves like mine! Hearing their positive comments actually helped boost my self-esteem even more than finding supportive bras or doing back exercises did.

Taking control of your own body isn’t always an easy journey—but it’s worth it in the end. For years I felt like getting a breast reduction was my only option for managing the back pain caused by large breasts. But by researching alternative solutions and listening to positive feedback from others around me, I learned how to love myself as I am—and be comfortable at the same time! No matter what challenges you face with your body image or health issues, you can find ways to overcome them without sacrificing your self-love or your unique beauty.
